Singletary

I knew that I wanted to do a photo shoot out at a Christmas tree farm this year and thankfully this family was up for that. The trees were gorgeous and made for such an awesome and festive backdrop. I know that I will be taking my family back to enjoy all the activities they have out there.

This family was super sweet and their little girl even made me a bracelet :) Thank you so much Singletary family for driving out to Dewberry Farm for this photo shoot! I enjoyed meeting you guys!

Magoulas Family

I had taken this family's pictures in Galveston this summer and it was one of my favorite sessions. I was so excited when she emailed me again to take their Christmas pictures. This was the first time I have been able to take pictures during the "golden hour" without clouds blocking the sun. I love how it just lit up the pictures and created a glow.

Magoulas family, thank you SO much for allowing me to take your pictures, again! I truly enjoy my time with you and those two adorable kiddos!

My Family

I decided awhile back that I was going to attempt our family pictures. I really didn't want to pay somebody for something I knew I could do myself. UGH..... it was horrible. Dealing with the tripod, not being able to see how the pictures really look, hot and humid Houston, cranky little boy..etc. I was also so frustrated because I really wanted to take our pictures at an old log cabin. Well, we show up and OF COURSE the cabin is under renovation. Needless to say, I am not too fond of how our whole family picture turned out but it works, right?

Burtons

I love these pictures! I could share so many of them but I tried to stick with my favorites (although I think they all might be my favorite). This little family moved to Houston about the same time we did and so it's easy to relate to them about missing home, family, etc. Their little guy is almost a year old and I just think he is the CUTEST! He makes taking pictures soooo easy!

Raia

This family is in my small group and I was so excited when they asked me to take their family pictures. I took their sweet little girl's pictures back in April, for her first birthday and I loved getting a chance to do it again. Our original photo session was rained out and so they stopped by my house, after a birthday party, for their photo shoot. We ended up just snapping shots along the bayou that runs along my house (honestly, it's one of my favorite spots). This preview is smaller than most because they want some to be saved for their Christmas card :)

I gotta tell you, this family was adorable! These kids-- I couldn't stop smiling while I was looking through my camera. Apparently they were giving me cheesy smiles but I thought they looked pretty cute, myself.
